Appointment of Chief Executive Officer and other staff of the Board.—(1) The Government may appoint an officer not below the rank of Joint Secretary in the Government service on deputation, as the Chief Executive officer. (2) The Chief Executive Officer shall exercise such powers and discharge such duties, as may be prescribed. (3) The Board may appoint officers and staff as may be necessary for performing its functions in an efficient manner . (4)The method of appointment and other conditions of service and salary and allowances of the Officers and staff shall be, such as may be prescribed.
