Extension of term of office of municipal councillors.—Notwithstanding anything contained in the Kerala Muncipailties Act, 1960 (l4 of 1961), the term of office of the councillors of the Tirur Municipality constituted under the said Act, which expires on the 1st day of December, 1978, shall extend upto the 1st day of October, 1979.
