Board of Studies.— (1) There shall be a Board of studies for every school under a Faculty, which shall frame the detailed curriculum for every course of study offered. (2) Every Board of Studies shall be constituted by the Executive Committee on the advice of the Academic Council. (3) Every Board of studies may ordinarily have eight members and a Chairman may be selected by the members from among themselves. (4) The Director of the School concerned shall be the Secretary of the Board of Studies and he shall keep the record of the deliberations and present its recommendations to the Dean, who may cause it to be presented before the Academic Council. (5) The term of a Board of studies shall be two years and can be extended, if deemed expedient, by six months with the approval of the Executive Committee.
