Constitution of the Research Council.—(1) Vice-Chancellor shall be the Chairman of the Research Council, which may have the following members, namely:— (a) Deans of Faculties; (b) Directors of Schools; (c) Six distinguished Professors one each from the field of literature, fine arts, folklore, music, traditional knowledge systems and media to be nominated by the chancellor. (2) There shall be three Vice - Chairmen for the Research Council in three broad areas of literature and culture to be nominated by the Chancellor from among the members nominated.
