Compensation officers.-The Government shall, by notifica- tion 111 the Gazette, appoint compemat10n officers for such areas as may be specified in the nouficatwn to carry out the functions and duties assigned to them by or under th1s Act. (2) Every compemation officer shall be subordinate to the Board of Revenue and shall be gu1ded by such lawful instructiOns as it may issue from time to t1me.
