Section 29

Jurisdiction of courts barred in certain cases

(1) No suit or other legal proceedings shall lie against the Government for any act done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rule made thereunder. (2) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against any officer or servant of the Government for any act done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rule made thereunder, without the previous sanction of the Government. (3) No officer or servant of the Government shall be liable in respect of any act done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rule made thereunder in good faith in the course of the exercise of the powers or the performance of the functions or the discharge of the duties conferred or imposed by or under this Act. (4) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall be instituted against any officer or servant of the Government for any act done or purporting to be done under this Act or any rule made thereunder after the expiry of six months from the date of the act complained of.
