Alteration of register by Government.- The Government may after, giving notice to the person concerned and to the Council concerned and after inquiry into his objections, if any, order that any entry in the register which shall be proved to the satisfaction of the Government to have been fraudulently or incorrectly made or brought about, be cancelled or amended.
