Constitution of the Council.—(1) The Government may by notification, constitute, with effect from such date as may be specified therein, a Council to be called the Kerala State Higher Education Council. 1 Substituted by Act 19 of 2018( w.e.f. 05-07-2017). 2 Inserted by Act 19 of 2018( w.e.f. 05-07-2017). (2) The Council shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal and shall by the said name sue and be sued. (3) The headquarters of the Council shall be at Thiruvananthapuram.
