Definitions.—In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) “Care Centre” means Government old age homes or old age homes having recognition of the Orphanage Control Board for protecting elderly; (b) “Chairperson” means Chairperson of the Commission; (c) “Commission” means the Kerala State Elderly Commission constituted under section 3; (d) “Elderly” means a person who has completed sixty years of age; 17 This is a digitally signed Gazette.
