Reconstitution of the Syndicate.—(1) The Syndicate shall be reconstituted in every four years. (2)The term of office of the members of the Syndicate other than ex-officio members shall be co-terminus with the term of the Syndicate. (3) A person who has become a member of the Syndicate by virtue of his office shall cease to be a member of the same on the termination of such office. (4) Where the vacancy of a nominated member occurs prior to the reconstitution of the Syndicate, the authority concerned shall nominate a person to such vacancy: Provided that, the term of office of a member so nominated shall be for the remaining period of the term of office of the member in whose place he has been nominated. (5) The Registrar shall take steps to reconstitute the Syndicate three months prior to expiration of its term. (6) The University shall, by notification constitute the Syndicate.
