(1) The Vice-Chancellor shall have power to issue orders not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances and the Regulations for the guidance and working of Boards and committees and other bodies constituted under the provisions of this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances or the Regulations and for regulating the procedure and conduct of business at the meetings of any authority of the University other than the Syndicate and Academic Council. (2) All orders shall have effect from such date as the Vice-Chancellor may direct in each case. (3) Every order shall be laid before the Syndicate during its next succeeding meeting and the Syndicate shall have power to amend or modify the order in such manner as it deems fit.
