Applteatwn of the Code of Civtl Procedure.- (I) The procedure prescribed m the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908), shall save in so far as Is otherwi~e provided by that Code or by th1s Act, be the procedure followed in a Court of Small Causes m all su1ts cogmzable by 1t and in all proceeding!> arismg out of such smts: Provided that an apphcant for an order to .;et aside a decree passed exparte or for a rev1ew of judgment shall, at the time of presentmg his alJphcation, either deposit m the Court the amount due from him under the decree or in pursuance of the JUdgment, or give such secunty for the performance of the decree or compliance w1th the JUdgment as the Court may, on a previous apphcatwn made by hm: in this behalf, have dtrected. (2) Where a person has become hable as surety under the proviso to sub-sectwn (1), the secunty may be reahsed in the manner provided by aectwn 145 of the Code of CIVIl Procedure, 1908 (5 of 1908). :>
