Appointment of Officers and Staff.—( 1) The Government may appoint a Chief Executive Officer and such number of other Officers and Staff as they consider. necessary, to assist the Board in the discharge of its functions and duties under this Act. S Subject to the provisions of sub-section (3), the method of appointment, salary and allowances, discipline and other conditions of service of the Chief Executive Officer and other Officers and Staff appointed under sub- section (1) shall be such, as may be prescribed by Government. In the case of direct recruitment to the posts in the Board, provisions in the Rules 14 to 17 in Part I of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1958 as amended from tune to time shall be complied with. Appointment may be made provisionally on deputation basis, when the board is constituted and starts functioning.
