(1) The penalty imposed on a designated officer or any other officer involved in the process of rendering public service under this Act shall be recovered, in the manner as may be prescribed, from the salary or pension or otherwise from other assets in the same manner as an arrear of land revenue. (2) The Commission or the Appellate Authority may, by order, direct to give such amount as compensation to the eligible person out of the amount of penalty imposed and realized under this Act, as may be specified in the order.
