The District Collector shall issue under his seal and signature the warrant for the arrest of the defaulter, which shall specify his name, the amount of public revenue due on land, interest thereon and cost of process and the date on which the public revenue became payable. The officer charged with the execution of the warrant shall thereupon arrest the defaulter, and convey him to the civil prison and deliver the warrant to the Jailor, which shall be sufficient authority to him to receive the prisoner. A copy of such warrant shall be retained by the Jailor who shall forth-with despatch the original to the officer in charge of the prison.
