Where a defaulter tenders payment of the arrear demanded, after his property has been attached and before sale, together with the interest thereon and the cost of process, the officer who attached the property or the officer conducting the sale shall receive the amount and immediately grant a receipt for the same. The defaulter shall, if the receipt was granted by the officer who attached the property, produce it before the officer conducting the sale. The officer conducting the sale shall, after satisfying that the full amount due has been paid, release the property forthwith.
