Constitution of Scheduled Tribe Rehabilitation and Welfare Fund and its utilisation.—(1) A fund known as “ Scheduled Tribe Rehabilitation and Welfare Fund” may be constituted by the Government and administered in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The Fund shall be utilised by the Government for construction of houses for the Tribal families and for other welfare measures as per the rules or in any scheme framed thereunder: Provided that priority shall be given to construct and provide houses to the homeless Scheduled Tribe families.
