(1) No owner of any land (including a plantation), and no person claiming under him or any other person, shall, without the previous permission of the authorised officer, cut any sandalwood tree or rosewood tree from that land. (2) No owner of any plantation, and no person claiming under him, or any other person, shall, without the previous permission of the authorised officer, cut any teak tree from that plantation.
