The Chairperson shall have powers of general superintendence of the tribunal and direction in the conduct of the affairs of Appellate Tribunal and he shall, in addition to presiding over the meetings of the Appellate Tribunal, exercise and discharge such administrative and financial powers and functions of the Appellate Tribunal as may be prescribed.
