(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Public Libraries (Kerala Granthasala Sanghom) Act, 1989. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, appoint and different dates may be fixed for different provisions of this Act.
