All Prisoners as classified below shall be categorised by a Committee consisting of the Superintendent, Joint Superintendent, Welfare Officer and Medical Officer, namely::- (a) Civil prisoners (b) Criminal prisoners (c) Under trial prisoners (d) Convicted prisoners (e) Habitual offenders (f) Non habitual offenders (g) Detenues (h) Lunatic criminal prisoners (i) Dangerous prisoners (j) Security prisoners (k) Prisoners sentenced to death.
