Short title and commencement.–(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Prevention of Damage to Private Property and Payment of Compensation Act, 2019. (2) Sections 4 and 7 of this Act shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th day of July, 2019 and the remaining provisions shall be deemed to have come into force on the 8th day of January, 2019.
