(1) This Ordinance may be called the Kerala Preservation of Trees and Regulation of Cultivation in Hill Areas Ordinance, 1983. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 18th day of June, 1983.
