Penalties

[(1)] Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) or sub-section (3) of Section 3 or any of the terms and conditions subject to which a permission has been granted under sub-section (3) of Section 3 or any of the terms of a notification under Section 5 shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both. [(2) Whoever contravenes the provisions of Section 3A or any of the terms and conditions subject to which a permission has been granted under that section shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees, or with both.] Renumbered by Act 10 of 1973, published in K.G.Ext.
