(1) The State Government may constitute a Police Establishment Board which shall be departmental body consisting of the Director General of Police as Chairman and four other senior Police Officers of the Department of the rank of Additional Director General of Police as members. (2) The term of office of the members of the Board, the procedure for the functioning of the Board and the guidelines to be followed by the Board in the exercise of its functions shall be in such manner as may be prescribed.
