In making any rule under this Act, the Government may provide that a breach thereof shall be punishable with fine which may extend to [ten thousand rupees], or in case of a continuing breach, with fine not exceeding [two hundred rupees] for every day during which the breach continues after conviction for the first breach. Substituted by ACT 5 OF 2024 published in K.G.Ext. No. 819 dt. 04/03/2024 (09/12/2023). Prior to the Substitution it read as "one thousand rupees" "fifty rupees"
