Section 43

Action not invalidated merely on the ground of defect in constitution, vacancy etc.-

No act done, or proceedings taken by the General Council, the Executive Council, the Academic Council or any other authority or body of the University shall be invalidated merely on the ground that it is not duly constituted or there is a defect in its constitution or reconstitution, at any time or that there is a vacancy in the membership of any such authority or body and no act or proceedings of such authority or body not affecting the merits of the case shall be invalidated on any such ground or grounds.
