[x x x x] Section 60 omitted by Act 14 of 1999, w.e.f. 24-3-1999. The omitted Section 60 read as under: "60. Control over municipal electrical undertakings.- The administration by a Municipality of any undertaking for the generation, transmission, supply or use of electrical energy shall be subject to such conditions, as may be prescribed, not inconsistent with the Indian Electricty Act,1910 (Central Act 9 of 1910) or the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948, (Central Act 54 of 1948), the rules made under those enactments and the terms of the licence granted to the Municipality."
