Subject to the provisions of this Act and bye-laws and regulations for the time being enforce, the Secretary shall specify the duties of the officers and employees of the municipal establishment and Secretary shall exercise supervision and control over them.] Section 228 substitution by Act 14 of 1999, w.e.f. 24-3-1999. Prior to the substitution it read as under: "228. Control of Secretary over establishment.- Subject to the provisions of this Act and to any bye-laws and regulations for the time being in force, the Secretary shall specify the duties of the Municipal establishment and shall exercise supervision and control over all officers and staff under the Municipality."
