[x x x x] Section 220 omitted by Act 14 of 1999, w.e.f. 24-3-1999. The omitted section 220 read as under: "220. Saving of certain non-determinable irregularities.- When work is given on contract at unit rates and the number of units is not precisely determinable, the contract shall not be deemed to contravene the provisions of section 218 and section 219, merely by reason of the fact that the pecuniary limits laid down therein are eventually exceeded."
