24EA[(1)] The State Election Commission shall fix the hours during which the poll will be taken; and the hours so fixed shall be published in such manner, as may be prescribed: Provided that the total period allotted on any one day for polling at an election in a ward shall not be less than eight hours between 24EB[7 a.m. and 6 p.m.] 24EC[(2) The last one hour of the time fixed under sub-section (1) shall be used for voting by such classes of persons as specified under Section 130A.]
