Exemfiltan from or reduction of Una—The Government may, if in its’opinion, it is necessary in the public interest so to do, by notifica- tion in the Gazette, make an exemption, reduction in the rate or other modification in regard to the tax payable— (1) by arty person or class of poisons; or (it) in respect of any motor vehicle or class of motor vehicles; of (izi) in respect of any motor vehicle or class of motor vehicles using a specified route. 23‘ Appmlr.—-Any person, who is aggrieved by any order of a Taxation Officer or Regional Transport Officer made under this Act, may within the prescribed time and in the prescribed manner, appeal to the District Collector.
