Penalty for non-payment of fair wages—Any employer who refuses to pay fair wages as pi'OVided in this Act to any 215 motor transport worker Without reasonable cause shall. on conviction be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to Six months or With fine which may extend to five hundred rupees or With both.
