(1) On receipt of an application for the grant of registration of a metal crusher unit or its renewal, the competent authority after making such enquiry as it deems fit may grant or renew a registration in Form S or refuse to grant a registration. (2) Every registration issued under sub-rule (1) shall be subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be specified therein and to the provisions of the Act and rules.
