The Board shall have and maintain its own fund called the General fund of the Board to which shall be credited all amounts received by or on behalf of the Board under the provisions of this Act and all amounts received by it from the Government by way of grants, subventions, loans and advances, and as the Conservator of Ports and of their approaches or as the body appointed under Section 36 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (Central Act 15 of 1908).
