Nothing in this Act shall affect.-- (i) the right of the Central Government to collect customs duties or of any Local Self Government Institution to collect duties at any dock, berth, wharf, quay, stage, jetty or pier in the possession of the Board; or (ii) any power or authority vested in the customs authorities under any law for the time being in force.
