The [State Government] may, by notification in the [Kerala Government Gazette],-- [(a) exempt from the operation of any of the provisions of this Act or of any rules made thereunder, any religious or charitable institution or endowment, the administration of which is, for the time being vested in-- (i) the Official Trustee or in the Administrator-General; or (ii) any body corporate entrusted by law with the administration of religious institutions; or] (b) vary or cancel such exemption Kerala Adaptation of Laws Order, 1956 Substituted by Act 11 of 1981.
