Repeal and saving.-( 1) The Ket ala Puhltc rvfcn's Corruptton ( Investtg,\tJOm and InqUJnc<;) Act, 1937 (24 of· 1988) and the Kerala Lok Ayukta Ordmancc, 1998 (16 of 1998) arc hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstandmg such 1 cpcal,- • (I) m so fat as it IS not inconsistent with the provisicns of this Act, anythmg done or any actton taken under the said Act shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act and may be contmued and completed under the corresponding provisions of this Act: j 81 .., Provided that, fot the purpose of thi~ sub-section, "Public Men" as detained undct the satd Act shall be deemed to correspond to "public servants" under th ts Act, .
