Certain offences to be cognizable.-(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 the offences punishable under sections 12, 13 and 14 of this Act shall be deemed to be a cognizable offence within the meaning of that Code. (2) No Court shall take cognizance of the offences referred to in sub-section (1) except upon a police report as provided in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. CHAPTER VI MISCELLANEOUS
