Renewal of license.—The license issued under section 5 of this Act shall be valid for a period of five years and may be renewed on application and on payment of the prescribed fee. Unless a license is suspended or cancelled by the licencing authority, application for renewal shall be given in the prescribed manner within sixty days before the expiry of the license and a decision shall be taken either granting or rejecting the license.
