Analysis of sample.—The Feed Safety Assurance Officer shall,— (a) deliver a sealed sample of feed to the person from whom the sample is taken; (b) deliver two sealed samples of feed to the Feed Safety Enforcement Officer for keeping it in safe custody; (c) submit two sealed samples of feed within three days from the date of collection of sample to the authorized primary analytical laboratory for testing, under intimation to the Feed Safety Enforcement Officer; (d) The expense for the analysis of sample shall be given to the analytical laboratories as prescribed, in accordance with the rate approved by the Government and if it is found on analysis that the sample is not up to the standard, the expenses incurred in connection with the analysis shall be realized from the person or persons responsible for the same.
