Members of State Feed Quality Consultative Committee, the Feed Safety Assurance Officers and other officers shall be public servants.—Members of State Feed Quality Consultative Committee, the Licensing Authority, the Feed Safety Enforcement Officers, the Feed Safety Assurance Officers and any person acting as authorised by them shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code,1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860) while they are acting or deemed to be acted under the provisions of this Act or the rules or regulations made thereunder.
