Section 11

Appeal

Appeal.—(1) Any person aggrieved by the refusal of permission to erect a lift or escalator under sub-section (5) of section 3 or by the refusal of application for licence under sub-section (6) of section 4 or by an order issued under sub-section (2) of section 10, may prefer an appeal before the appellate authority as may be prescribed in such form, manner and within such time as may be prescribed. (2) Any direction for the discontinuance of the working of a lift or escalator under sub-section (2) of section 10 shall be complied with until such direction is stayed by the appellate authority.
