Section 30A

Jenmikaram payable where rent payable to kanam tenant is reduced.--

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law, where in respect of a holding the landowner is a kanam tenant as defined in the Kanam Tenancy Act, 1955, and as a result of the determination of the fair rent in respect of that holding there has been a reduction in the rent payable to such landowner the Jenmikaram payable by such landowner in respect of that holding and accrued due after the 1st day of May, 1966, [and before the commencement of the Kanam Tenancy Abolition Act, 1976] shall be reduced in the, same proportion as the rent to which he was entitled was reduced].
