Section 129

Power to make rules.--

(1) The Government may make rules to carry out all or any of the purposes of this Act. (2) In particular, and without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for the following matters:-- [(a) the fees payable on applications, appeals and claims made under this Act and the persons by whom and the period within which such fees shall be paid;] (b) the registers to be kept and maintained by the [Land Tribunal, the appellate authority,] [the Taluk Land Board] and the Land Board and the particulars to be entered therein; (c) the procedure to be followed in the preparation of compensation rolls: (d) the filing of statements before the Land Tribunal [The Taluk Land Board] and the Land Board; (e) the procedure to be followed by the Land Tribunal, [the Taluk Land Board] and the Land Board; (f) for the joint consideration by the Land Tribunal of two or more applications involving the same question; [(ff) for the joint consideration by the appellate authority of two or more appeals involving the same question]; (g) the assignment of lands by the Land Board under [section 96]; (h) the management of land before assignment under section 98; (i) any other matter which under this Act is to be, or may be, prescribed.
