Section 100D

Constitution of Land Reforms Review Board.--

(1) For the purpose of reviewing the progress of implementation of this Act, the Government may, by notification in the Gazette, constitute a Board to be called the Land Reforms Review Board which shall consist of-- (a) the minister of the State in charge of land reforms, who shall be the Chairman; (b) the member or members, as the case may be, of the Land Board; and (c) six non-official members nominated by the Government. (2) The member of the Land Board where it consists of a sole member, or the Chairman of the Land Board where it consists of three members, shall be the convener of the Land Reforms Review Board. (3) The term of office of the non-official members of the Land Reforms Review Board shall be such as may be Prescribed. (4) Any vacancy in the office of a non official member of the Land Reforms Review Board shall be filled by the Government. (5) The procedure to be followed by the Land Reforms Review Board in the performance of its functions under this Act shall be such as may be prescribed.] Inserted by Act 17 of 1972 dt. 02/11/1972.
