(1) Whenever the Corporation is of opinion that it is expedient and in the public interest to execute a scheme in any area, it may prepare a draft scheme containing the following particulars, namely:- (a) the object of the scheme; (b) the boundaries and approximate area of lands to be included in the scheme; [(c) x x x x] (d) the work to be carried out under the scheme; and (e) such other particulars as may be prescribed. (2) On the preparation of a draft scheme under sub-section (1), [the Corporation or the Government or an officer authorised by the Government in this behalf shall appoint an Inquiring Officer] for the purpose hereinafter specified. Omitted by Act 15 of 1977, w. e. f. 21/02.1977. Prior to omission it read as under: "(c) the persons including the Government, who will be affected by the scheme". Substituted for the words "the Corporation shall appoint an officer called the Inquiry Officer" by Act 15 of 1977, w. e. f. 21/02/1977.
