(1) The Government may give to the Corporation general instructions, not inconsistent with the Companies Act, 1956 (Central Act 1 of 1956) or the Memorandum or Articles of Association of the Corporation, to be followed by the Corporation. (2) In the exercise of its powers and performance of its duties under this Act, the Corporation shall not depart from any general instructions issued under sub-section (1) except with the previous permission of the Government.
