The functions of the District Committee shall be- 7A[x x x x] (2) to prepare schemes for areas in the district 7A[x x x x] (3) to perform such other functions pertaining to land development as may be specified in this Act or in the rules made thereunder; (4) to execute the sanctioned schemes; 7A[x x x x] 7A[x x x x] [(6) to issue approval for the schemes prepared].
