(1) In determining the amount of compensation the Collector shall be guided, so far as may be, by the provisions of the Kerala Land Acquisition Act, 1961 and as regards matters which cannot be dealt with under these provisions, by what is just and reasonable in the circumstances of each case. (2) If in any case the exercise of any right is prohibited or restricted for a time only, compensations shall be awarded only in respect of the period during which the exercise of such right is so prohibited or restricted.
